Go Back To School Get A Degree Using A Grant

By Kathryn Stovall

Before I got remarried I was a single mom with my 2 oldest children, my only children at the time. I worked 2 jobs while trying to raise them by myself, and was able to get a grant for school. They are now 16 and 12, but at the time they were only 8 and 4. I had a regular 9-5 job while they were in school and worked a second job every other weekend when they would stay at their dads house.

One day while I was searching the Internet I decided to see if I could sign up for some classes at a local 2 year college. This way I would have some kind of chance of not working myself to death forever trying to make sure my children would be well cared for. I started looking around for a grant to help me with finishing my education. I had incredible results. There are so many people wanting to do exactly what I want to do! One thing I found odd in my searching was the amount of companies out there that want you to pay for this information, or for help in applying. Sure it was a small fee at first, but then a monthly charge to keep on using their "help" for me to find a grant myself.

It didn't take me long to figure out that I did not need to do that at all. I was quite capable of going to the FAFSA web site for free. This website has everything I needed. They have the applications and very easy to follow instructions for filling out an application for a Pell Grant. I did not have to pay anyone at all, it is completely free.

Some of the process was intimidating to me. It asked me for information that I had no idea what it was or how to get it. They need a code for each school you are interested in. I had decided to go to a community college so that if I was able to get a grant it would cover the entire cost of it. The last thing I want is a loan to have to pay back. I had to call the school and ask one of their office workers what code I need and they were able to tell me. They knew exactly what I was talking about so what seemed so intimidating was not really all that bad at all.

That was so easy. I did it without paying for help! I found their website, filled out my application, got approved and signed up for my classes. That was it! Once registered I was able to start.

You can do this for yourself by yourself. Get a grant for free on line. All the information you need is right at your fingertips. - 30693

The Necessity Of A Mom's Health and Fitness

By Aimee Jones

What could be more perfect than to go out and spend some quality time with the whole family where in your grandparents are also present enjoying the day as well. While many of us still enjoy this kind of celebration some do not. In reality, a lot of times, grandparents were not able to spend time with their grand children because of their diseases than is usually the cause of their deaths.

My mom?s dad was a hard working person according to grandma. He would leave the house early for work, goes back home for lunch and returns to work after that. When he gets home, he still has time to play with my mom and her sisters and even help grandma with some of her chores.

Mom remembers playing with her dad a lot during weekends since that is the only time he can rest from work. As years passed by, grandpa started to feel weak. He started missing out days from work and would rest a lot at home.

It was when they decided to have him checked with his doctor and they found out that he has diabetes and because he smokes cigarettes and drink beers too he had some complications with his lungs too. Grandma got so worried that she even got sick as well for a few days because of that.

That time, grandma was so stressed on what she will do for the family, she has 5 daughters and a husband who?s sick and needs hospitalization. My mom eldest sister was almost done with college and was lucky to get a job as well as grandma. Both of them helped each other raise the family.

Grandpa did not have much time to live from the moment he was diagnosed. He had eight months before he passed away. Mom and her sisters were so unprepared of what happened and got so depressed for months and most especially grandma.

Raising 5 daughters was not an easy job but grandma was able to do it. She was determined to give them the best life she can give and she successful in doing so. Although grandma died at the age of 76, she was able to see all of her grandchildren and some of her great grandchildren too.

When I think about it, it scares me to imagine that eventually I will be leaving this world and my baby would be left. Maybe I could still see her children or maybe not. But I think the most important thing in life is to live it with your best everyday and show your love to every one and not say that it?s too late when someone?s gone. - 30693

Travel Ventures International, Keep It Simple and Duplicable

By Tom E. McMurrain

There is a huge difference between knowing and believing in business and if you want to make the BIG money that comes with joining Travel Ventures International there are some classic mistakes you do not want to make. This article is about creating a sound plan and it is written by someone who has reached the express board and realized the success of knowing.

Sponsor 'Blind' People Will End You Up In A Ditch

Too many people join Travel Ventures International for the wrong reasons and that is why most fail. Use good judgement when selling memberships to your friends family and prospects. Be sure to pose some questions when you enroll them and try to identify the hot button as to 'why' they are enrolling in TVI and usually the 'how' to succeed will follow in short order. Getting rich is a shallow reason, keeping the power on, buying a safe car, or paying for school are usually better reasons to reach the express board.

Unfortunately, the people who easily get discouraged outnumber the latter. As a result, you will end up wasting a lot of time and destroying your own focus on your goals with this theory. Instead, screen out the ones who are not serious or will give up at the drop of a hat, and spend your time with ones who have the courage to succeed and will sponsor others to get to their goals.

Realize Your Dreams With Goals

If you have joined Travel Ventures International with a specific result in mind, forget about getting there if you have not come up with a plan for how you are going to get there. What's more is if you do not have your own goals how can you possible help the two people you sponsor to set goals?

Not Helping the People You Sponsored

Many people in network marketing programs such as Travel Ventures International make the mistake of sponsoring people and then quickly move on to sponsoring more people thinking they are going to get ahead this way. They fail to invest the time in the people they sponsored to help them succeed.

The whole idea of the matrix program in Travel Ventures International is to sponsor two people and help them succeed so you can become successful as well. Simply signing up people will not do and you will end up spinning your wheels and the people you sponsor will think the program is a scam.

Beware Of Whisper Down The Lane

Remember leadership starts with you and so does the truth. Travel Ventures is a real home-based business, it requires work, dedication and focus. It is not a get rich scheme although you can make money quickly, in fact, for some it does come very easily. Make sure what you teach is the truth and remember the two goals. Make what you teach duplicable and easy to understand. Put it in a little two page training book, a video or audio. Help your team get off on the right foot and keep them headed towards their goals.

Success is Realized With Preparation

Prepare ahead of time what you are going to say and say it with confidence. Make the presentation concise and to the point so the person can easily get the big picture. Although the matrix plan for Travel Ventures International can be complex, break it down as best as you can to make it understandable and then highlight the benefits of the matrix over a pyramid plan and how it works to make everyone successful as a team. - 30693
